How to measure ring size
Here are several common and practical methods to measure ring size, and you can choose according to your situation:
Measure An Existing Ring
If you already have a ring that fits well, you can directly measure its inner diameter or inner circumference, then refer to the size chart to confirm the size:
1. Use a ruler (in millimeters) to measure the inner diameter of the ring.
2. Then note the value and check the size chart.
Measuring with a string or paper strip
If you don’t have a properly fitting ring, you can use a string or paper strip to measure your finger’s circumference:
1. Cut a thin strip of paper (or take a non-stretchy string).
2. Wrap it around the base of the finger where you want to wear the ring, making sure it’s snug but not tight (it should slide over your knuckle comfortably).
3. Mark the point where the strip or string overlaps.
4. Unfold it and measure the length from the start to the marked point with a ruler (in millimeters) – this is your finger’s circumference.
5. Refer to the ring size chart to find the corresponding size.
